I have been testing some Federal Fusion 120 gr. ammo in my Grendel for 2 or 3 weeks now. Until today, it has overpenetrated everything I have shot. I am not against overpenetration and actually prefer it (exit wounds tend to make good blood trails which is beneficial if tracking is required). The exception today is that one round failed to overpenetrate on a 70 lb boar, but that was likely only because it had already passed through a much larger sow. This was a good hunt on a new property, not too many shots fired and the cattle remained safe...

    Curious about that too.

I almost always make carnitas out of my wild pig kills. Its very lean meat. Those under 80lbers make some great carnitas.

Dang. Now I'm hungry for tacos.
