    After reading this someone needs to instruct Mr. Shipley on the 5th amendment. If the ATF or other Gov't agency is asking about your weapons seek legal services right away.

    This story definitely has two guys that need to be strung up. The law is in place to keep guns from getting into Mexico, which I believe, both of these men were a knowing part of.

    I think there is alot of politics involved in this case that is drumming it up.

    1) The ATF doesn't like the FBI and visa-versa. They always seem to be squabbling over budget dollars. So how better than to nail an FBI agent and drag him through the mud for a trivial but lasting story of gun trafficking into Mexico; which seems to be their bread and butter right now with the powers to be.

    2) The ATF needs serious PR ... they need to find some scape-goats to nail to say, "See what we did today!"

    This is so much of a home run story for the ATF.
