I remember this happened to a female agent from another agency when I was assigned to the El Paso Airport. The one at the El Paso airport also left it in a stall and a civilian found it. Scary since the restroom she left it in was PAST the security check point. Since she was also a federal agent she can carry a firearm on board a flight. I think it was lucky the civilian who found it was honest and turned it in, once past the check point ....well you know.

The one on the Romney flight at least was on a confined flight. But of all people to find it....a reporter, whoa. No way that was getting little attention.

I rotate my shorts around a little and rest the gun (still holstered) on my foot. Keeps it off the poopy and pissy floors.

Keep the belt snug and hold it up with my legs. Find a system that works for you and doesn't include you remembering to pick it up when you're done.
