Texas born, been here all my life...
ETA: The reason I put the picture in this thread is because it came from the OP's link.
And did they release the addresses of those four homes? You know, as a service to the B&E crowd...
NOPE. - We originally surveyed the neighborhood to see how much difficulty that we would have to have an effective ARMED NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, given the fact that our area is filled with military members, ex-GIs & police officers (active, reserve & retired).
The GHHD would NOT be a good place to target if you are a criminal.
Three of the four "No firearms homes" are occupied by elderly persons (One house is occupied by a 94YO lady & her granddaughter/caregiver.) & the Watch marks those homes "special attention", should civil unrest or other untoward events occur.
When somebody calls my house asking about firearm ownership I tell them I have none. There might be 4000 folks in Austin that don't have firearms but everybody I know has a least a shotgun, rifle or a pistol. Then some of the folks I know could outfit a military platoon to include several snipers.
Grandma and Grandpop might be lyin to you...lol
I follow the TGT approved method. That is every time I buy a gun there is a truly unfortunate boating accident and it is lost. You would think I'd stop.
Never believe these numbers or times them x 4-5 or more for unregistered firearms. Yes every state has them.
I don't own a single firearm.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
They're all married?
