The pay wall / pop up wall issue has been around for many years with DMN stories, or at least has been for me no matter how I try to view it or work around it: (browser, PC, phone, or any combo of the above, even with a VPN). I’ve just learned to pass on anything with a DMN link and hope they truly do go belly up in my lifetime just so I can see it for myself.

In my very non-humble opinion they have been crap since before the Times Herald went out of business, and other than the latte swilling posers inside the Dallas loop, I don’t know anyone who takes their “journalism“ seriously.

    Soon to be Texan
Adblock-blocked, then Paywalled, or Subscription walled...
EDIT: Gurgling on the side Constitutional Carry is one more reason to move there quicker, if passed...

Got past the paywall easily enough, the article is a bunch of liberal hogwash and crying from Demoncrats that they did not get to put more controls on citizens. If you could not read the article you did not miss much.

I did not get that. Both articles seemed balanced. Sure they quoted the crybabies, but they also quoted supporters, and accurately too. And I didn't see any errors of fact.

Surely you noted the wildly erroneous claims and Bloomie-designed phrases ?

see: " Hotel guests could soon pack a gun in with their luggage. "

" the majority of voters support tighter firearm restrictions"

" The policy long sought by gun rights activists, and opposed by law enforcement "

    " “Firearms don’t belong on a school campus,” "

" “These are issues I’m going to continue to work on because it’s the right thing to do,” "

Admittedly, some are attributed quotes, but there are few from our side.
