Gun show canceled - who knew?

On the way back from visiting kin in the Houston area we went through Fredericksburg where there was an advertised gunshow. It was on several web-sites. None of them said anything about it being moved or canceled. Upon arrival, the building was not only vacant but it was for sale. We stopped in at the Peddlers show, and a deputy said that LOTS of people had been asking about it.
I was disappointed. I have heard they have a decent gun show.
You would've thought that someone somewhere would have thought to post on at least one web page that it had been canceled.
Lotsa wasted gas and miles.

That gunshow has been canceled for some time now, I liver near and work in Fredericksburg and went to it every time. Red McCombs bought the place and immediatly canceled every event and put it up for sale. Real shame too, was a small but very high quality show.

Now all we have is that sorry excuse for a gunshow that is held at the fairgrounds across the street. Bunch of redneck/walmart guns and beef jerky - the other show always had at least one NFA dealer there....
