This is a great show and close by. We went last year and they had the judges from Forged in Fire and they had a small blade-making competition.

I also sold a couple rifles that didn't sell here just walking around through the shows. Seeing is believing for many.

Sucked. Big time.
Tiny show. Fully half of it wasn't even guns.
Very little to look at.
Prices typical retarded for anything wood and steel.
Free Parking. $5 Entry.
You can cover the entire thing in 8 minutes.
Save your gas.

I really like the Floresville show. It's not the biggest but there is a pretty good blend of older guns and the new stuff and as usual a lot of the crap you just have to blow past.

which do you recommend?

The Houston show is the Houston Gun Collectors Association show.
It will have the more oddball/rare/collectable stuff.
Bring your heart attack pills tho.
I mainly go for bits and pieces of off-beat things.

The Conroe show is a moderate sized show with all the typical modern stuff.

I'll probably go to both shows on Saturday as they're not that far away from one another.

I haven’t seen my ad come up on the board yet today, but I have one running looking for some help at the humble Gun Show the weekend of the 16th, 17th if anyone’s interested.

There is the Allen gun show this coming weekend. It's usually not bad at all. It's been a while since I've been to it though.. we'll see. Takes me about 7 minutes to drive to it, so at least it's convenient. Parking is free.
