My wife likes going with me to gun shows…and she has less restraint than I do.

Not so much recently, but used to be a good fun outing for us was a good gun show; we could spend hours looking and getting to know some folks and sometimes finding a good deal or two…

First date I took my wife on was a gun show.
Talk about a honey dropper! IIRC on our second date mine showed me he pistol in her purse. That prompted me into showing mine the contents of the gun safe.

Then there was like the third or fourth date when here dad showed me his guns. I laughed at him, saying that’s all you got!

Brother in law ( Mrs. Hoji’s brother) was showing her his HD/Zpoc set up when she was up there a few weeks ago. She was polite but conveyed to me that she was thinking “amateur”

My now deceased BIL was in the Army for 20 years. He ended up in commiepornia. His taste in guns were as Fuddtastick as his fathers. I remember him going on about just buying a S&W MP-15. As he bragged up his purchase, I mentioned having just bought my registered receiver Colt M16A2 burst marked Commando. He asked why I was such a dick? My reply was why are you so envious of my bigger dick?

My wife usually figures it out when I’m unable to budget my lunches. I ain’t got money to eat but it was worth it.

One of the reloading supply companies I use has raffles pretty much daily. When you buy stuff direct from their website there's an option for a dollar to have a note included saying, "congrats on your raffle win" or something similar.

The trick is to get your wife hooked first.
Husbands & wives both need something to get away from the other! My wife can shoot & doesn't mind going if I invite her. I stopped going with my wife to her families holidays 15 years ago for 2 reasons. #1) Generally had to work the holiday. #2) I worked to get out of going with her. And the extra money I earned working holidays was my play money.

I spent an entire month in Africa hunting one year the month of our anniversary. My wife knew how much it meant to me. She also knew she would get a worth while present out of it.
