Went to the gun show today at the GRB....it was the busiest I have ever seen a gun show on a Sunday. It was simply insane and so were most of the prices. The AR prices are simply crazy and there are people buying them left and right.

$2000.00 for a NIB Colt LE6920.......and I watched 3 of them get purchased while I was standing at the table.

Even prices on weapons that I would not imagine getting banned..ie single shot .22 rifles had price increases.

Hope a few people got a deal or two.

I found an XD mag for $20 today.

The cheapest stripped lower I saw was $300. Stripped!!!

Cheapest AR was $2K and cheapest SKS was $575. People have lost their minds.

It seems gun owners are afraid of what an Obama administration with a Democrat congress means for our future. And some price gouging dealers are taking advantage of the situation.

I'll epeat part of what I posted in the other gun show thread. :p

It's funny how so many people love to accuse politicians and party's, socialists, but you want the free market collared so the natural economic activity of supply and demand is choked.

Should the government come in and fix prices on goods?

If no on would pay the high prices, they would come down.

Picked one up at the Austin show yesterday. The worst part was the standing lin line for over an hour with paperwork in hand. Vendor said he sold 8 CASES of AR lowers in 2 days. btw there is 24 lowers to a case

I went to a gun show over the weekend in Gonzalez, LA. Was one of the nicest shows I have been to but the prices were higher than I had ever seen! The ammo was going out the door in cases in every caliber.

Looks like we are in a seller's market no matter where we go. Expect to pay more from your soon to be smaller paycheck. Just gotta love "CHANGE"!

Texas Tactical had RRA stripped lowers for $164, he also had some "Pistol Only" lowers for $175. Fair price IMHO.

I cant believe the price gouge on stripped lowers. I walked out last month with one for $100. $300 is a rip!
Seriously - where did you find a stripped lower for only $100??? I bought my stripped lower at GT's a year ago and still paid $130. I thought it was high then, but could not find one in stock anywhere else. I thought it was fun building my AR and saving $200+, but apparently most people don't.

All I've been reading about are the huge price increases from these shows and have seen them locally too. The Dallas show is next weekend and I was planning to go but hearing about the huge crowds and price gouging going on, I'll wait to buy an AR until after the paranoia dies down. I'm as concerned as the next person for our 2A rights but I'm not going to get raped by a gun dealer to buy an AR either. lol
