I ran across a gun store in Alvin today they've been there about 4 months and have a nice selection of pistols more than I've seen at most places, about 30 to 40, sigs, glocks, colts, walthers, and others. They also have some assault and hunting rifles and shotguns. They don't have much ammo but who does. It's worth a stop if your in the area or even a short drive.
