Being a Seattle boy and I had last lived in Washington in 2011. I used to long for the days it was a conservative state. The Norwegian neighborhood (Ballard) I used to live in is now little Saigon. If it wasn't for landmarks like the Spaceneedle and Fisherman's Wharf I wouldn't know the place. Seems the only way to get elected in politics in Washington anymore is if you fit the soccer mom image.

That doesn't surprise me, they had to get rid of car licensing based on value of the car due to the fact they couldn't show where the money went.
