    I saw this on the news this morning.
    The weapons were stolen from a Rental Unit.

    The Newsperson stated the "people were hoping to start a gun shop & had been collecting for a long time".
    They stated "86 guns were taken".


    ETA: Just read Matefrio's post, that must be what I saw on the news.

    Yeah, thats what i saw on channel 8 news tonite.

    Just wanted to follow up - ATF made some arrest and possibly more pending in this case. It was a ring of druggies and quite a few people are believed to have been involved. I have received paperwork on a few of the guns being held as evidence and yes they were headed to Mexico. Received verification that some of the weapons have been recovered by Mexican authorities and likely will never get those back. Many of the weapons have migrated from the Dallas area to the Houston - San Antonio area.
