Gunsmith in the Spring/Houston Area?

I have a new stainless Colt Combat Commander XSE that I would like to have a beavertail grip safety installed on (Wilson, Ed Brown, etc.). Are there any quality and reasonably priced gunsmiths in the Spring/Houston area? I've already contacted Briley's but they quote a 12-16 week lead time.

Does it require fitting or something? Last time I stripped a 1911 to the frame it took less than an hour from assembled to reassembled.

I also use Gary Lucario at G&L and he has done a great job on several of my guns, including my 1911 pistols.
