It does make one wonder - how WOULD the arrest of a former (or current) President go down? Secret Service detail is tasked with protecting him, they run interference for all sorts of dirty shit done by the sitting or former POTUS. They probably go get the hookers, the coke, and the children to sacrifice for them, and guard the door while they're doing their unspeakable acts.

IF a group of green berets, rangers, or US Marshals showed up at the location of the POTUS or ex-POTUS with a warrant for their arrest - is the Secret Service going to say "okalee dokalee" like they should, or will they hustle them out the back and stall the arrest team?

It would go down real simple. USSS detail would verify the arrest warrant and then serve it if the guy didn’t voluntarily surrender to the USSS.

There’s so much wrong with.mil executing the process (lack of jurisdiction being one, Posse Comitatus for two…) that I’m not even going to give it any thought.

I was a DoD rep yo these guys for a few years while in the military and spent many a day standing watch side by side with them.

Everyone there came off the PPD/VPPD and we shot the shît about what ‘bad’ principal or agent behavior really is. You’d be surprised at what does and what doesn’t happen when it’s reported to the detail AIC. I’ll share a story or two over beers, and it’s well known Biden’s detail reported his penchant for swimming laps bare-assed naked in front of female agents.

Whenever I see posse comitatus, it reminds me of the 1984 movie with James Garner called "Tank". There's a crazy sheriff in the movie and when a military guy tells him about posse comitatus, he doesn't understand it and begins repeating, "pu$$y communists".
