So I just bought from a buddy of mine an H&R 176 Heavy 32" barrel. It says "Re-enforced Breech" on the receiver. There's no wording at all etched into the barrel. The number "76" is etched on the bottom of the barrel where the handguard goes.
    1. I can't figure out the age (serial number is "DR 12651").
    2. Anyone know what choke it has (again it doesn't say anywhere on the gun).
    3. Any ideas on it's value? It's in great condition. Color case hardened receiver, no real pitting, no big scratches.

Don't know age or value but at the muzzle loading forum they had a chart I have used before
10 gauge is .775 bore, imp cyl is .010 tighter, mod is .020 IM is.025 and full choke is .035 tighter.
Do the simple math and deduct the inside dia, use a caliper, from the .775 and you have the choke
