What do you guys think about the lack of businesses flying their flags at half-mast today for Chris Kyle's burial? The VA this morning in Temple had all their flags at half-mast, but then businesses like First National Bank of Texas hasn't bothered to lower their one state flag and one national flag. Part of me feels like they should because he's a national hero AND a fellow Texan. But the other half of me wonders if they're not simply because war veterans die every day from all types of things. So, what's y'alls opinion on this. If you own a business with a flag outside-did you lower yours?

It should be lowered, although the point that we lose heroes daily has merit.

What should happen, were we to have a President that was worth a damn, is that said President that IS worth a damn, makes an announcement or gesture of some sort indicating that HE gives a damn!

You want to lower your flag--lower it.
Does anyone remember last year ???
How a part of our country said it was OK to lower our flag for Whitney Houston.WH did not defend our country.
-- and not Chris Kyle ?????????????????? Yes, CK was one of many fallen.
Maybe he will end up being a guide-on.

I think at least most flags in Texas shoulda been at half-mast. He's represented us well and done a lot for his fellow vets. He's right up there with any other public figure that we would fly flags at half-mast for.
