Handgun hunting regulations

If this is posted before, I apologize; but I can't find what calibers/barrel lengths/SA-DA-Semi laws exist for hunting game. I'd appreciate some info or direction where to look.

There essentially is no regulation.

It just has to be a center fire weapon.

You are simply left to your own, self-imposed limitations and morality. Texas has no magazine capacity limits nor caliber minimums. That works for both long guns and handguns.

Same as a rifle. No Full auto and no rimfire I think.
