Found this video on youtube last night about hunting with a 44 Magnum, I'd like to hear what others think.

9 shots and still in agony?

    Rotten bastard!

Every deer I ever shot were kill shots with 1 round, with 1 exception and it took 2 quick shots.

If you can't dispatch an animal humanely, buy your meat at the grocery store.

Exactly. Here's some of the text explaining what they're doing: "We push them hard and shoot them as many times as possible because this is a live bullet test. Not purely a hunting scenario."
Is that kind of treatment of an animal legal?

Sociopathic animal cruelty dressed up to look like a quasi-reasonable scientific experiment...Mengele-like monsterism.

    Doesn't pass the smell test.

    Rotten bastards!

All I can think of is: MEAT, I wanna eat the back straps....NOW!

And this guy did an admirable job of shooting this wildebeest.

    Works for me.

Hoji, do that and yeah, good...

That kind of malicious killing of game animals disgusts me.....especially being an ethical handgun hunter of over 30 years. I have taken countless Whitetail deer, coyote and hogs. I started with a .22 handgun and have harvested hundreds of squirrels and cottontails. My biggest harvest was my Spotted Fallow Deer shot at just over 100 yards from a steady rest. One shot through the lung/heart area and he took two steps and dropped and died on the spot. There has only been once where I had to take more than one shot to humanely harvest an animal and it was a hog at 75 yards that turned just before I pulled the trigger. Most of my large game hunting has been with my scoped Ruger Redhawk in .41mag. I have been playing around with my 10mm guns but have yet to use one for hunting. The video of Razor killing the wildebeest with the DW has me interested.
