Yes I think so...... but commercial, not a Turkish military issue......
Well, it was very minimally out of time on one cylinder, and the single action trigger had some problems too once I got home and started dry firing it with snap caps. I think it has something to do with the mainspring under the grip. There’s evidence that the previous owner had a trigger job done as i can see some type of frog lube colored grease inside through the hammer slot, and the single action trigger was very light while it still worked.
I sent it back to S&W to have them overhaul it and bring it back to 100%. It’ll be 4 or 5 months before I get it back but I want it to function as well as it looks before I shoot it, and I think it’s worth the money. Plus, I’m assuming that after the repair costs, I’ll still come out on top on what I have into the gun, so I’m still very optimistic and happy with the purchase. I’d go as far to say I’d do it again knowing it had some issues as I think it’s a gun worth saving that I’ve always wanted.

just got a new grip for a Dan Wesson 44 mag ( top one ). no info from seller on ebay. REALLY NICE, looks like a stock grip sent off to a custom shop. here's a pic of some other D/W grips.
number ONE on my wish list.
if the military won't part with one, i will settle for this.
another grip came up for sale. could not resist. one for large frame, and one small frame. turns out to be laser engraved, not hand carved. " s k kustoms " works with wood and metal. no web site, sells through ebay. https://www.ebay.com/str/skkustoms
Gonna look into the book on this one tomorrow...
You're definitely correct. @V-Tach 's PP checks all the boxes:
Heel mag release. Magazine with finger extension like on a Beretta. Walther banner shaped logo, but reading "Kirikalle" (scratched out here). Nub of a beaver tail compared to the German models. Turkish markings for manufacturer, model and caliber, but scratched out and stamped by the US importer.
New to me grips from @OIF2 for the 44spcl.
Texas Hold’em Chief’s Special
(unfortunately it has the hillary hole on it)
