Stolen from my truck in New Braunfels last weekend in April

Ruger 96/44 Deerfield carbine in 44mag with Leupold 1.5-5 vx-3 scope with flash light

Glock 17 3rd gen with skateboard tape grip panels

    Leupold Yosemite 8 power binoculars.

Bottle of medication I have to take daily to control Grand-mal seizures

Things like this make it hard to stay positive about the world we live in and the people who surround us

Oh yeah it was my birthday.

    Lesson learned:
Keep the S/N's on record. It's the best way to track down the thieves.

I had a student in the High School who had a very disreputable looking motorcycle. I asked the campus officer to run the VIN # and it came up stolen out of North Carolina about 4 years earlier. It took a long time and a 1/2 nation away, but they found the bike!

I am very sorry for your loss. Happy BD, anyway!

Yeah shoulda had the serial numbers. Truth is I only had the 44 in the truck because I had taken it to the shop to clean it up and forgot to bring it in. I was debating on selling it,but had decided to keep it and sell my old ruger carbine. Rrrrrrrr!
