Chappy Chanukkah to all. I invite you to use this time to contemplate the meaning of religious freedom and the willingness to stand up to those who would oppress us, have us abandon our own faith or submit to another.

    Happy Chanukkah, and Merry Christmas.

I drove past a church on the way home from Weatherford today and the preacher must be fed up with people being too PC to express their religion.
The church had a big one of those scrolling LED banners which read "What would Jesus say, 'Seasons Greetings or Happy Christmas'"

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas! Did I spell Hanukkah right?
    Thank you!

No one spells (C)hanu(k)kah right. It's just not done. I think there is a spelling variant for each of the eight nights.

Has nothing to do with the intentional incomplete spelling of the Lord's name, you'll see many Jews (and others who like the idea) write G-d. It's a sign of respect. Basic premise is that you don't take the Lord's name in vain, so you wouldn't write His name on a piece of paper or something that could then be defiled, destroyed or otherwise abused.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.
