Speaking of Mother's Day.......

So, I had not forgotten Mother's Day but had gotten so wrapped up in attempting to afford the perfect gift that by the time I realized it wasn't gonna happen it was yesterday and the race was on TV. Typical lazy bad husband I am I didn't get her a gift. I confessed today what happened, even the part about the race, and her reply was: "that's ok, You can take me gun shopping." So with my marching orders in hand we loaded up and hit every pawn shop in town and Academy and Gander Mountain. The local gunshops are of course closed on Sunday's as they should be. Anyway while making the complete rounds we come across a sweet Springfield XD-9 that she decides she likes. So needless to say the XD came home with us and she says: "this is the best Mother's Day yet!" So I got off alot cheaper and have a new toy I'll occasionally get to play with myself! How LUCKY am I. I mean seriously I LOVE this woman. Happy Mother's Day to all!
