*should have read "Hand-Cannon" if any of you admin would care to edit title*

Sooo, I'm surfing on GunBroker.com at 2AM and...

Yeah its pretty obnoxious, but I've always wanted one...although I'm not sure why. I guess for the same reasons I loved buying M-80's as a kid...they make a big "BANG" and destroy objects.

Now THESE were a bit harder to find (even with the World Wide Web at my disposal) - but, thankfully, not as expensive as I had imagined ($1.56 per round).

Also bought a Hogue wrap-around grip because it has...

However, even with the aftermarket grip (and its R.A.R. properties), the Abductor pollicis and Flexor pollicis (thumb muscles) in my right hand started to get sore after the second box of 20.

This is a gun that I imagine will be WAY more fun to watch my friends shoot for the first time. But it WAS pretty interesting to see the reactions of the other folks at the range when the first round went off!!

    Thanks for letting me share.

Part 2 of "Hand-Cannon Edition" is being shipped as I type this, and I will post thread as soon as it arrives.

Very nice. Be sure to wear eye and head protection. Them big cases like to come right back at you. It is even addressed on their website (atleast it was).

Recoil isn't too bad. It is a big, heavy gun so that helps.

They are also very accurate. Mine hit right to point of aim.

Also they are very easy to take down and clean.

Good guns all around. Just avoid aftermarket mags (Promags specifically).

Nice thing is that you can get a .44 Mag barrel and magazine for cheaper plinking.

Polygonal rifling so avoid lead bullets (not that you will find many in .50 AE).
