Was going to retype "Hand-Bannon", but...

Happy New Gun Day Part Two...

Decided one hand-cannon isn't enough, so here is the DEagle's adopted sibling...

    S&W 500 Magnum ...DUH.

    "YOU FEEL LUCKY...PUNK?"

Yeah, I know Dirty Harry used a 44...but that's what this photo reminds me of.

Only 5 shots to stop a bad guy...or an elephant!!

I really like the red ramp front sight...

Really easy to acquire a sight picture.

Also (inadvertently) bought ANOTHER Desert Eagle (this one sans-tiger stripe).

I actually wasn't supposed to get this one, I thought the seller had cancelled it. The Titanium Gold was my original choice, but when the seller went to pull it from inventory it was missing (just found an empty box)...so instead of waiting for them to locate it I decided to get the tiger stripe instead. Apparently there was miscommunication because they charged my AMEX card for BOTH and sent me this one with the 500 mag, so now I'm stuck with an extra DEagle.

GHETTO GATS!! Yeah dats right, playa...I be packin!!

Think I'll send one of them into Magnum Research to have muzzle brake added

So, to wrap things up...I REALLY like the S&W 500 Magnum - A LOT!! It feels so much better in my hand than the Desert Eagle. Just wish the 500 mag ammo wasn't TWICE THE PRICE of the .50ae...but oh well.

    Thanks for letting me share.

The 500 is a very nice revolver, well, until you shoot it. The light rounds have some serious recoil. The heavier rounds aren't quite as bad. Seems backwards but it is true.

If you don't reload it may be a good time to start. These guns make it pay off very quickly.
