To add, even when people plainly see the gun, most won't say a word. I carry when I go to the parks with my kids, and I run around with them quite a bit. When I'm going up the climbing structures it easily reveals the gun when my arms are raised, and I know for sure other parents have noticed. Not once has anyone said anything one way or the other, hurriedly escorted their children away, called the law, etc.

I OC...so people SHOULD be noticing my gun. In reality, however, very FEW people notice (most are unaware of their surroundings anyway). I've even been standing right in front of people talking to them and they still don't notice. One was sitting at a table (restaurant) so my gun was at eye-level -- STILL didn't notice.
So given my experience OCing (for years now), if you CC pretty much NO ONE will notice, no matter how badly you're concealing (bulge, printing).
In short, I wouldn't worry a bit about CCing -- no one will know unless you tell them.

GLOCK 17 is way too big to CC comfortably. I'm 6', 235#, and it is too big for me. Try a G19, or G26. Almost everyone makes the mistake of "too big", including me, with my G21. Smith "J-frames" or similar are even easier to conceal.

If you're really worried, get a belt holster for your cell phone and carry it at 9:00. That will balance things out so a bulge on one side isn't noticeable.

Plus, if you carry your cell phone on a belt holster, that kinda becomes the only place to carry it.

Sounds more like a CYA policy in case they get sued down the road. If they were really against it, they would just say no, not leave a gray area.

They CAN’T say “no,” because they have government funding and are not allowed to post anymore if they keep that funding. I think they figured out that they were not allowed to restrict LTC employees either. The retained company lawyer updated us two years ago now on that via email.

They were not happy to take down their old “gunbuster” sign. When the open carry statute came into effect, the email circulated says that “unfortunately” we cannot prevent the public from carrying at the facility. So that’s pretty telling.

But not finishing to implement the policy to allow employee LTC is kinda like saying “no” without saying “no,” no?

Many who post those signs don't really understand the Law, or what they are doing. Why don't you explain to management that the signs cannot and do not restrict criminals, only licensed persons who have been vetted and trained.

If you are talking to me, I won’t be able to explain anything to that lawyer.
I’m quite sure that she/they understand the law and still just don’t care for people carrying guns to be anywhere around.

The company being associated with the government (state) funding are not allowed to post signs anymore, but have not finished implementing their “training” protocol for employees who wish to exercise LTC.
