I just found out about HB 131 now in Calenders....

Relating to exempting the intrastate manufacture of a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition from federal regulation.

If I read it correctly any firearm made in Texas would be exempt from Federal registration......

    Dallas Texas or so
Not exactly. Other states have tried this and lost in court, IIRC. Also they firearm made in Texas would have to remain in Texas. The damn feds use the interstate commerce clause like a Clint Eastwood movie.... Every Which Way But Loose. That is how they get into K-12 education. Books are interstate commerce. Medical Care. Drugs, and equipment go through interstate commerce. Firearms.... The raw materials go through interstate commerce.

I am hopeful that no one from out of state will read this post or I will be regulated under the Interstate Commerce Act.
