Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman allegedly committed a felony by pulling a fire alarm to delay the congressional vote to fund the government. Bowman was reportedly caught on camera pulling the fire alarm which is in violation of 1512(c)(2) “obstruction of an official proceeding.”

You make that sound like it's a frequent occurrence.
    It's definitely not...

Hell I screw up half of what I post. Lots of times here lately its Renfield nudging me for something. In this case he needed out to chase a squirrel up the tree.

Most of the times when I let him in I grab a couple treats & then he panhandles the hell out of me, until he gets them all.

Can't wait to see his punishment for this, seeing as the charge of obstruction of an official proceeding, which carries up to 20 years behind bars, is among the most widely used felony charges in the Jan. 6 cases.

I won't hold my breath though.

Here is what his Chief of Staff had to say about it.

I noticed that nobody is showing the whole video of him walking up and pulling the alarm....
WHY??? The only possible reason is to cover it up. Could it possibly show intent. If it was "hurried confusion" like he says, it should show that. Or not.
An ex school prinsipal in charge of teaching kids about such things and the most important person in the school to protect kids from fire, or false alarms... you would think he would know what would happen if you pull ANY fire alarm in the system.
