Hearing Damage

I have to admit that I have fired a lot of firearms over the years without protection and am suffering the consequences. I have become very prudent about protecting it now, and very much an advocate to others to protect theirs.
I have noticed lately that I am developing an unusual loss of hearing from the inherent ramblings from our POTUS every time he opens his mouth.
I am also noticing that I am having a severe redneck reaction to every episode of tree hugging, granola eating,peta screaming,save the newt,whale, tree frog, marching and protesting piece of pond scum that breathes the same air as I do. (WHEW!)

Is anyone else out ther simply amazed at the things we are seeing. Most of the time I sit back later and think about the thing we are seeing and hearing and it finally sinks in. It makes me question myself as to how tolerant (polite) I have become.
I have always believed in the golden rule, but as of late I have come to realize that we may be being stepped on.

Thats more than I have said in a long time .

My hearing loss stems from playing rock music as a young idiot.

I think there are a lot of us that are amazed that things could go south in such a hurry. And it continues every single day.

The leader of the free world is now the Israeli prime minister, not the POTUS. What an amazing fact.

Yes, we have been stepped on. And it has not let up.

I will appear fairly dumb because I catch only if lucky every third word.

Far to long we have been silenced by the PC crowd while I never liked
rude behavior I'm concerned we have no other choice at this point.

I'm going to side with Glenn Beck on this. As much as I dislike DOHbama and his feelings towards America, this crap needed to be brought to a full boil.

My Excuse...Gunfire

Maybe some hereditary. Ordered a couple of the hang behind the ear hearing aid types, seemed to work okay but chasing livestock through trees and brush snagged one I never found.

Next stop the expensive in the ear hearing aids, great, but very hard on the wallet. Keep them where the dogs can't get to them, they sometimes whistle and all you find are small bits of plastic, a small wire or two and need to spend big bucks again.

The good part....they shut down at a certain decible lever and loud explosions as gunfire does not damage what hearing you have left !!!

I should change my handle "cuate" to "huh"......

I agree! My friend, I am worried about what is going to happen when it hits full boil.
I believe that tensions are running a lot higher than people are showing. The days of politely smiling and ignoring are becoming short lived.
Hopefully, people will see what is happening and maybe try to effect change in a positive way. ( OMG I think I just made a PC statement}
I really gotta stop watching CNN.

i used to be able to hear a mouse fart at a hundred paces now days not so much. growing up i never used hearing protection, i recommend it to people at the range whenever i go but they always get an attitude with me.

Sorry, I did fail to mention in my preceeding post that when I see that big eared, chin jutted out, obamination on TV, I protect my hearing and that of the family with either the mute button or switch channels....once you have heard his rot, you have heard it all.....Now Oreilley, Hannity, & Beck....I'm all ears !!!!

I have a specially designed audio program for listening to Obama.
It filter's out all words except "We, proud, Americans"
To date the longest speech is 15 seconds long. LOL!!!!
I too fear that we are headed for a boil over and I suspect it is on the horizon!
