HEB Texas Pecan coffee

So I stop through Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli quite a bit just to get a cup of their pecan roast coffee.

I saw a Texas Pecan roast at HEB and bought a pound of the beans. Good aroma on the beans, but the flavor is lacking.

Anyone have a good pecan roast? I'm going to have to ask the Chappell Hill guys where they get theirs, I guess.

Strange... I'm mildly allergic to pecans but I love them. Favorite beer is a 512 Pecan Porter, too...

I brew a bunch of that in the K cups. Agreed it isn't "awesome" coffee, but I'm not a snob, more a simple guy who enjoys the $6.49 a box price for a decent cup.
