    I will be moving to Arlington in about 12 hours from Colorado. It is not my home state, but I have been here for about 4 years. We moved around a lot growing up, but I would consider Idaho to be my home state.

    I'm looking forward to the warm winters and the lack of new-age hippy types that are flooding Colorado. Also pretty excited about all the fishing available in the DFW area.

    Fellow newbie(ish) Texan. I relocated to Richardson from San Diego for both economic (there's a TON of telecom jobs here in DFW) and political/cultural reasons (e.g. the recent "Gunpocalypse" going on in CA as they turn the Retard knob to 11 and snap it clean off).

    You'll definitely be happy here in DFW. There's a LOT of fishing with the myriad lakes (Ray Hubbard being among the biggest in the area) and you'll no doubt have your mortal soul in hock to BassPro soon enough. They have a ginormous store right on Lake Ray Hubbard in Garland. I'm more of a Cabelas man myself, since their used gun counter has yielded numerous bargains. :D
