Howdy, Folks. First time poster on this forum. I'm in the NE Austin area. My primary firearms interest is home defense. Don't have a CHL yet, but it's a long term goal. Currently own a Walther P99QA in .40 S&W, and two Mossberg Persuaders, one in 20ga, the other in 12ga. I'll be looking for some good instruction, and a range that will let me pattern the shot-guns with buck-shot. The more I think about it, the more I like the sound of an AR pattern SBR with a suppressor for home defense, so I'll be looking into the NFA rules, and how to comply in Texas.
