Just wanted to say hey and introduce myself. I'm in the process of moving to La Grange, so I'm in limbo a lot between here and Corpus.

I do thermography, that's where the name originated. It's a pretty neat gig with interesting technology.

    Anyone around these parts??

    Scott.

Welcome from another noob! This seems to be a pretty good site. I normally live west of the Copperas Cove area, but currently detained in SC for another few months...

That sounds like a plan. I'm already here during the week. I'm thinking about bringing my Ar10 up to shoot next week if the weather is good.

ETA: P.S. The first thing I bought was a membership to the gun club!

    Scott.

    Is that place still open???

Not for a while. (I'm guessing you are referencing the Chicken Ranch).

I've driven by the spot and didn't even know it. The building is gone, but there is "museum" or something here in town just off the square. It has a mural painted on the side with chickens on an old stage. I've seen a few "tin's" around. One says it good for one screw, and the other says "good for one all night". I'll try to get some pics and post them.
