    Hello All,
    My name is Bob, I live in La Vernia, and I found Texas Gun Talk via a Bing search while researching issues with handguns and checked baggage. I'm looking forward to learning more and hopefully contributing something useful.

    Good morning Bob and welcome to TGT. Man!, I sure miss the great WWII reenactments we used to have in La Vernia. The people were great and played along wonderfully with the occupying German Forces. The cotton gin was a great place for their final stand as the Allies pushed them out of the town. I never heard why the events stopped being held there though I did hear the gin was condemned and there were liability concerns, maybe you could shed some light on what happened?
