Helotes Wal-Mart Has .22 WMR on the Shelf

They also have plenty of ZQI 7.62 NATO for $9.97/ box. That's the best price on commercial new 7.62 NATO anywhere. Cheaper than the web.

The price for .22 mag seems good. It's hard to judge a market rate when the stuff is so hard to find. I bought some Winchester brand 22 mag from Helotes Tactical about a month ago for around that price IIRC.

I've found the ZQI 7.62 at all the local Wal-Marts in various quantities. $0.50/rnd is hard to beat. Helotes is probably the closest to you but any of them probably have some.

Brass. It's Turkish, NATO spec. The guy on the YouTube Military Arms Channel shoots a lot of for plinking. It's not match grade but it is plenty accurate for plinking or battle. I see other YouTubers shooting it as well.

no worries... i just shot 60 rounds of ZQI 7.62 NATO this morning thru the mega maten... thats why i could use more... the fat 50 can is 3 boxes short now.

i usually stop at the Helotes WM for ammo on the way to H.E.B. at the crossing, but they havent had any the last 3 trips i was there.

Trust me, had there been cheap 7.62x39 ammo at the Helotes Walmart, there wouldn't be after I found out about it!

7.62x39, 5.56, and a lot of other calibers are usually cheaper on line. No one seems to want to touch WM on the ZQI 7.62 NATO, though.
