Answer: Power mad and greedy for both......money and power or if you will, power and money......disgusting monsters at the helm....each and every one of them.
Sometimes though, justice is served.
If old enough, recall Romania's Ceausescu - (Chow-chess-q) and his evil wife or even Mussolini (before my time, but I read history) to recall a few monsters of the past whose tits were caught in a wringer as in undignified death by an outraged and sickened mob..... Oh, btw, fdr was a big admirer of the fascist Mussolini, betcha didn't know that......
Or even sadd-em......sons of bitches on occasion get brought to justice, though I doubt crooked hillary or holder et al. will be brought to justice, but hope springs eternal....
