How can a child born in this country by parents who are here illegally be considered a US citizen???
If the parents are illegal then why are the children not?

What makes the children of illegal parents think they have a right to sue the US government over deporting their illegal parents?

Our laws state that if you are born here then you are a citizen.

There is a small movement to change the law to make it such that at least one parent must be a citizen.

I feel that they should make it that at least one parent be a citizen and the citizen parent be within the US for 18 months out of the preceding 24 months with the last 6 months here in the US prior to the child's birth.

After all they know you left the country and for how long based on your passport records.

Now if both parents are Natural Born then the time constraint goes away

IIRC the Constitution has something in there about natural born citizens, without any clarification about the parents having to be here legally. This has been an issue in CA for decades (I grew up there). It’s nice to see the US gov’t sending back the non-citizen parents. If they don’t like it, they shouldn’t have come here illegally in the first place. Maybe that’s a ‘loophole” we should close.

Their constitutional rights? It has been that way for a long time but I think it is time to say NO to the people raping this country. I think they should settle this by not splitting up the family and deporting the kids to.

I know the law that's my point - help me understand why that law is still in place!
Have we never ever considered the fact that America can be literally taken over in this manner?? It's happening right now!!!
Secondly on what grounds do you base your law suite on for your illegal parents deportation?
    I just don't get it!!!
I don't have one problem with legal immigration - not one!
Unless you want to change my country into the broken down piece of crap country you just left and then a have a huge problem!

When they first started talking about putting up the "wall" there was a news clip I saw of a man protesting (not sure if correct term here) for the wall to be put up, he was part of one of the groups against illegals coming here and getting rights to everything that they do not deserve... sorry rambling...
this man was a Mexican immigrant who came here legally and if I remember correctly became a naturalized citizen and he thought it was BS that all these illegals were coming over and bitching about not getting their way:banghead:

I am also not opposed to legal immigrants... but illegal is illegal, you're a criminal get the eff out of our Country

The liberal left/Progressive movement wants and requires poorly educated low wage workers to produce their wanted socialist utopia.

Loss of manufacturing, outsourcing, and importing poorly educated people is a recipe for disaster we are well on our way to a rich and poor society.

How when we produce nothing in the future do we plan on paying for all the welfare, including the wonderful new nationalized(rationed) health care, perhaps in the end moving to India may look good.

Citizen or not, go with your parents. Be it France, Mexico, or Japan.

Having a kid in American should not mean you and everyone you know can live here.
