why would someone laugh? DPMS parts are respected.

Truth be told, there are only a handful of companies that make AR parts. Others just stamp there name on it

I know, but I know some poeple think because it isn't some high end like BCM or soemthing like that it isnt any good. But I am happy with it.

Anyways, what do you guys think about shooting Tul Ammo through your AR's? Ive got alot of PCM, American Eagle, and Independence which is all brass. Im kind of on the fence about the steel though.

Here are examples of properly staked gas keys:

OP, I hate to be an ass, but I would sell the rifle and buy a colt or BCM, unless you are just shooting a few hundred rounds a year. If you have around 8-900 into your gun, sell it and fork over a couple hundred more and buy a colt or bcm. There is absolutely no question about the build quality.

Ok so now I have two different opinions here. Good to go, and NOT properly staked. Jared I have seen those pics before and that is why I posted up the pic of mine. I didnt think it was staked in far enough. So now I am totally confused.

It's improperly staked, end of story period. It may be "good enough" for some, but in answer to your question, it is not staked properly. I really don't mean to be an ass about it, I am being completely honest and upfront about what I PERSONALLY would do.
