I heard on either Tucker's or Sean's show last night that she was also on the warrant. Doesn't change the facts of the event but does add one more bit of information to consider. Also... They said she was in the bedroom and inferred the boyfriend was not - when the shooting started. The didn't infer that last bit of info it was a flat out statement. But no where in the segment was it ever actually stated where she was when she got shot.

It's a good thing that they had announced a curfew, declared an emergency before the protests started, and had the National Guard called out....or someone could have gotten hurt or started fires.

What a load of crap that this kind of stuff can't be stopped. What is the difference between what is going on in these cities and anarchy ?

Al Sharpton hasn't been a happy human being since about 1959.
Are you kidding ? Al Sharpton has never been a happier man than now. He thinks he is "relevant" and people really care what he thinks.

And think of all the money he is making off of this. I wonder how much he charges to go preach at these funerals ? I bet his "non-profit" organization is raking in the money. I think there are major companies that have made big donations to keep Rev. Al from badmouthing their company.

They do have the forensics capabilities these days to tell exactly who fired the fatal shot(s). Haven't seen that mentioned. Was it the Won Ton shooter?

I'm pretty sure they said he was not the one who fired the fatal shot at the girl. But I have not seen where they identified which one of the other two officers did shoot her. They said she was shot like 7 or 8 times but only one of them would have been fatal (guess that's all it takes).

I haven’t had coffee yet...I know why but I’m wondering why you guys are acting like this is going to be any different than the other thugs and riots in their name. Good riddance, BACK THE BLUE. End of story.
Different? Maybe not. Escalation has already happened. National Guard pre-deployed on one side. 2 cops shot on the other.

LMAO....She was in the wrong place bro!!

Frank59, I'm not singling you out. This is for everyone that believes in the idea that is essentially, if someone is around crime then their collateral death is acceptable.

The law is clear on "self defense" and third parties. You cannot kill people that are not immediate threats of death or serious physical harm. Even if she knew he was not the most lawful person, you cannot kill her in the heat of the moment.
The police have no more protection under the law than you or I when it comes to killing third parties.

Before anyone raises the argument that there is a law that allows partners in crime to be charged even if they didn't pull a gun, that is a procedure of the law, not applicable to or part of self defense doctrine.

There are fairly well defined lines around the use of self defense. To go outside of those lines because of who someone is or their value to society or what they might have known, is inviting the eventual removal of that protection because it will become too vague to be enforceable.

The laws in this country, enforced by men of God moral character, are what will keep evil forces like Antifarts from running a'muck so hopefully we don't have to resort to a system of mob justice with little due process. Killing is serious business and should not be taken lightly, no matter who does the killing or who is killed.

Most all you have great hearts in this forum and it pains me to see such rash and callous talk. Makes you sound like the little sharts that are tearing this country up in the name of justice and love of man, yet care little for either.

Empathy and emotion are one of the reasons we are where we are right now.

One of these days.... I'm going to learn:
1.) Not to react to the initial reports
2.) Not to respond until the dust has settled
3.) Not to form an opinion for, at least, the first 48 hours after an incident reported by the liberal left media
4.) Assume no one is telling the truth
5.) Keep my mouth shut about the incident until 1-4 above are completed - Yeah... fat chance that one has!

We are where we are now because it was a botched operation.

Folks whine about no knock warrants, but the element of surprise saves lives.

I can’t imagine how many disaster I could have been in if I had to k&a and lose element of surprise.
