Did you find any places you can go and shoot in the desert by yourself? Or just ranges?

I don't like to shoot out in the desert anymore. It's not all wide open like when I was a kid and you could shoot off rounds no problem. El Paso is growing like a weed, especially with the huge influx of troops to Ft Bliss. Developments popping up everywhere you might not know about. I'm talking what I used to consider middle of no where. I'm sure people still do it, but I won't, JMO.
