Got a text twenty minutes ago from a friend on Shoal Creek just N of 2222.
First photo was pretty scary, but in the last few minutes she said the water was going down rapidly.

Guadalupe is pretty high here in town but most of the roads are open for now. Prayers for the people that lost everything up north.

So the access road here is still closed southbound to I-35, had to go northbound a bit then get on the ramp. The creek flooding here really screwed some stuff up. Sad part, someone disregarded the sign. I pulled into my garage and saw a green Kia on my road with Salado PD. Normally don't see that kind of stuff here, in fact that's the first person I've seen them pull over in almost a year now. I guess she decided the "Road Closed" sign didn't apply to her? I can't see any other way her car could be facing the direction on the road that it was other than going around the sign then pulling up onto the other end of my road.
