    Gunz are icky.
    Went this a.m.
Left with nothing but some cleaning patches and bore brushes.
Anything collectable priced nose bleed high.
    Oh well...........

You didn't miss much, for the most part just a lot of people interested in showing stuff off, not selling. There was a 6" stainless GP100 for $550 that I'll probably kick myself for not buying at some point.

Yeah, that's what we decided too. More an exhibition than anything else. All I bought was two boxes of .357 ammo and that was simply because Eddie at Bullet Shack is a good guy from Spring Branch where I grew up.

Well, it is the Houston Gun Collector's Association. :) More than once I've gone to their shows, bought nothing, but considered the trip worthwhile because of some of the cool collections on display.

I think the last thing I bought at an HGCA show was one of the most useless things I can imagine but I still had to have it - a perfect original box of .38AMU. Dumb purchase but fun, nevertheless.

I bought a violin case and an itty bitty 22 revolver. And, I came very close to buying the FUGLIEST Marlin 336 you/I/anyone has ever seen for $200. I think the stock on that 336 was carved by Ray Charles wearing mittens - I liked it.
