    Ohhh...trust me, I know the proper way to hold it. Every Day Gun Guy has trained me well. I am not shifting my grip, but I do think I anticipate the noise.
    You might want to shoot a .22 to get use to shooting. Less noise less kick with cure that flinching. You sound like you just need to start small shoot a lot & build up to bigger guns.

    What does "flinch rounds" mean? I've learned what plinking means!!
    Hey Miss Sarah,

    Take a K 22. Only put 4 or 5rds in the cylinder...leaving one or more charge holes empty.

    Close eyes. Close cylinder....

    When hammer "falls"....ideally the front sight will stay on target...if not? FLINCH! LOL

    FASTEST WAY to improve MARKSMANSHIP!
