Hi all, I'm Sarah, the Every Day Gun Gal ---> I'm not very good at shooting but try to go at least every other month.
EDGG but shoots @ 6 times a year? :p

    I have a Sig Sauer P238 that shoots a 380.
Very cool! All the other P238s just shoot boring ole .380 cal ammo. :what:

Really??? The weight of my trigger pull??? You're already talking a foreign language....
Disassemble the gun and put the trigger on a scale, then you'll know it's weight.

Howdy - - from the token worthless member. :(
BTW, that IS me being nice so keep your expectations very low. :green:

An old School Ruger Mark II .22 would do you good as well. Find one used at a pawn shop - forget the red dot right now, buy a 500 round carton of .22's, grab your hubs and spend the afternoon at the 3/5/7/15 yard range. Cost ya about $350-$400. Hard to find that much fun for that price!

It does sound like you're anticipating the gun going off. I'd get some snap caps & practice dry fire drills in your free time.

Looks like the consensus is to get a .22 next....but I don't like revolvers.

Keltec makes the PMR30 seniauto that holds 30rnds of .22mag. The recoil is tame, throws a huge ass fireball & they are pretty loud for a pistol. That should scare the crap out of any attacker ....not to mention the 30rnd capacity of .22mag.

My wife has the Sig P938, its the 9mm version of the P238.

Willkimmen fin the big town. Practice with a .22 y yu out will learn sight radius, trigger pull, staying on target etc. Your P238 is small in recoil is a bitch unless you know how to handle it. Close your eyes and dry gif practice if nothing else
