What part of a 27 round indoor test proves it's reliable, as you claim in your opening comments?

40Arpent Through out the video I talk about No FTF's, and no FTE's which I believe would constitute reliability, also I invite you to view another youtuber iraqveteran8888 who's channel you can go to via our video by clicking on the lower third where I speak about him in that same intro they did an extensive 4 part torture test on the Hi point C9 and the only way they finally blew it up was to pack the barrel full of powder and C-clamp the slide shut ( if that ain't reliable I don't know what is Sir!) they also speak on the fact of accuracy numerous times. I hope this helps..

Most of us here are familiar with IV8888.

    Koinonia,
Yes Sir I understand I think the Man does some great videos and It is a shame his friend Barry passed because he played such a large part in the Hi point torture tests and in general

If you go back and watch the video again, take a look at the baffles above the targets: They are peppered with bullet holes!

Does not speak well for shooters who frequent that facility, or for a range staff that allows that to happen.

    Some punctuation would really help.

If you think 27 rounds constitutes reliability, any credibility you think you may have had just went out the window.

40Arpent, Sir I have shot over 2000 rounds out of a C9 with little to no issue and the carbine in this video has numerous rounds through it. We did 27 rounds mainly for lengths sake as people tend to lose interest on anything longer. And seriously do you want to watch me target practice for 20 minutes? These are fun videos and as you can see S&I Arsenal is in it's infancy as we have a total of three video's, and we are learning. I am more then willing to take suggestions on how we can improve, and we welcome any suggestions which can be submitted to our

    Siarsenal - do this:

    1.) load 100 mags.

2.) Mag dump continuously till all mags are empty. Shoot video of the entire shoot.

Pro Tip: Video of actual shoot should be no longer than 18.66 mins; 1,000 rounds, 1 sec allowed for trigger pull = 16.66 mins which leaves 2 full minutes for mag changes.

    3.) Post video on interwebs.

4.) Bask in adoration of new fans worldwide.

Said 9 rounds. I think I counted eight first mag. Ten in second and third mags. Am I wrong?

Odd. Holds 10 rounds, says 9 rounds on screen.

First round = 8 rounds (I smell a jam that was edited out)

    Second round = 10 rounds

    Third round = 10 rounds.

Dude's so slow it's almost painful to watch and the music reminds me of a low budget porn flick.

First of all, it's a lot of work to do youtube videos... so respect for that.

Secondly, I don't care for hi point... my view on them is they "work well until they fail horridly." They are not expensive, and they generally run until they fail in an awful fashion... but I wouldn't trust one for long term use. I understand their purpose being inexpensive, and I know great dudes that like them (pointing at you Dan)... but it's not for me.

As far as video tips... really make sure you know how to manipulate the weapon. Any funny stance or improper hold comes across in videos VERY strongly. I'm certainly not the best (I flinch sometimes in a few of my videos) but in the AR video the hold on the rifle looks kind of sloppy. LOP too long, check weld not secure, things like that... I completely understand this is not a "you HAVE TO DO THIS OR ELSE" sort of thing, but as far as video production it's pretty important. I know people that are amazing shots, but you put them on video and it looks kind of odd.

The accuracy... well, being blunt... there's a lot of room to improve. I can pretty easily cloverleaf my 7.5" AR at 50 yards with an EOTech. I've shot 10 yard Glock 26 all in the money spot. Then again, I've shot that same gun all over the paper at 7 yards. With videos, it's tough because to demonstrate the firearms accuracy it has to be SPOT ON with the shooter.

There's a lot of guys I've shot with on the forum that are extremely impressive. Mic, Breakingcontact, RickLovesBacon, BigDipper, really good with firearms. But I've also seen then throw shots or just have a bad few minutes. You get the "bad moments" on video, and it really hurts.

It may sound kind of strange, but try to get the really top notch stuff on video. IMO, all guns are more accurate than ALMOST all shooters... so that is hard to really put on video. For reliability... go out and put up tannerite, watermelons, soda, clays, etc and just mag dump. Then dump again, and again... it's a lot better test of how the actual weapon preforms and shortens the video up quite a bit.
