    Schedule:

7am: Breakfast at Andy's Restaurant, 2218 E. Main St. Gatesville, TX 76528. It is at the intersection of Hwy 84 and Business 36, across the street from Guns Unlimited store.

7 am: Range opens. In the past most people arrive between 8-9:30am, however, you can get there whenever you want

Safety Briefing: The range owner will conduct a safety/rules orientation, when the majority of the group has arrived. This is due to the large number of people attending.

10am: .22 and spoons shooting contest (set up on "tactical range" area between pistol range and 100 yard range)

    Noon-1:00 pm: Lunch

1:00-3:00 pm: Car Fireworks on the 100 yard range.

Silencer Shop will demonstrate their products.

    3:00pm: Group photo (participation optional)

3:00-3:30 pm: Clean up parts/load trailer (the idea is to get this part of the day done earlier than in past meets, before everyone is tired and has to leave, so it is not an especially long day for the car contributor)
3:30 pm: 100 yard range re opens

    Dark: Range closes

Skeet/Trap area is open all day

    Newcomer Advice:
1.If bringing tannerite, DO NOT mix it until on the range and close to the time of usage. It is illegal to transport mixed tannerite.
2.Have a plan to watch your stuff
3.Take sunscreen/bug spray and basic first aid supplies
4.Be safe handling firearms and if a fellow shooter calls you on something, don't get butt hurt, instead man up and change your behavior.
    5. Cease fires/target change: This range does not have regularly scheduled cease fires/target change times. If going down range, stop and look first and let the others on the line know. This is mainly for the pistol area.
    6. The 100 yard range will have posted RSO's all day.
    7. If bringing a child/teen or new shooter as a guest then please take them under your wing and watch them and avoid accidents. The "paper target" area on the pistol range is probably a safer area for new shooters and those around them.

I'm in. I prefer any day that there is no CHL so parking is easier for our guys.

It will be me plus one.

Depending on band schedule, I'm interested. Prefer not having the CHL classes there, but those were 2 of the 3 days YG said he could go. Like to see him there. So whatever works I will try to find a way to work it in.

I didn't even notice that. YG and his .50 are a staple to the hicksville meetups. I can deal with tight parking if that is what he needs. Plus-we could always advertise the forum to the chl class. Let them watch an explosion or something. Lol

Not to disappoint, but as mentioned I will probably be fairly poor around that time (and leading up to it) and the 50 is expensive to shoot. Doesn't look like I'll be able to feed it this go round:(
