This has been a very interesting post with some great replies. I was just looking to get some views from other folks on the high cost of certian 1911's. I do have some RIA 1911's and matter of fact I am getting another today. I still have my Kimber that I bought when they first came out and yes it is a real shooter better than me. Sold the Wilson along time ago and do not feel bad about letting it go. The guy that got it from can realy shoot.
One thing that got me to post this type of thing was that in all of the the magazines I get all you seen is the high end 1911's. I just wished you would see some articles of the lower end models. Gun Test use to be pretty good about this but I have not got that geniric magazine in awhile. But any way thank you fine folks for all of your views on this subject and hope I did not offend any of you.

    Thanks
