High Standard barrel.

Looking to replace the 4" barrel on my High Standard Sentenial. Looking for a 6"+ , any advice appreciated. Getting it after the fact doesn't help too much.

Looked and didn't find one. Hope an R101 fits an R103, because I bid on one on FleaBay.

Think there is a High Standard forum. Someone on there should be able to tell you about the barrels.

Look at rimfirecentral. I think the guys name you want is alan aronstein. He used to work for High Standard, makes some parts for them last I heard.

Well, I couldn't help myself....won the barrel on Fleabuy. I still need to find out if it fits, or gambled away $35. Oh well, I know a lot of folks that throw more than that away on scratch-offs every day.

Barrel came today. Some definite differences, but looks like it ought to fit. Gonna try to hit the range tomorrow and shoot that gun for the first time before I tear it apart .

When I get the old barrel off, I'll post some pics of them side by side.

Well, I hit the range, but I didn't shoot very well. I'm pretty happy with the way the 3 pistols I brought shot, now I'm going to take them one at time ( or 2 at the most).

Gunsmith said the barrel wouldn't fit, but then he looked at it and said it probably would, but he wouldn't touch it.
I told him I was going to do it myself anyway. He gave me a 3/32×1" rollpin for the Silver Eagle shotgun. I tried and tried to give him a $5 bill, but he wouldn't take it.

That's ok....I'll put it in an envelope and leave it with a gun shop employee on his day off!!!!
