Just moved to the Lake Whitney area in Hill County and am looking for the best place, read that as cheapest And most reliable, place to get a firearm transfer done. I am a Texas CHL holder if that counts for anything.

Thanks for any help and comments

Not much to choose from without going to Waco.

There is a place on highway 22 going west out of whitney. Got a little paintball field set up that nobody uses.

They have an FFL but I don't know the transfer price. I haven't gone in there since the owner said he agreed with universal background checks.

Chandlers gun range near valley mills is good people, but I don't know their rates either.

I do most of my business with fun Gunz in Waco. Again, don't know the rates. You can get a new gun cheaper but I like the people so I pay a little bit more.

Honestly, I haven't done any FFL transfers so I have no idea what the rates are for any of the area shops.

Also a place in cleburne. Name won't come to me at the moment, not know for their low prices though. Haven't been there in a couple years.

    Will do. And thank you.

This will be for an experimental 1911, the Tisas 1911 from Buds, so I really don't need any more major costs involved.

I will be be going to the the VA in Waco fairly regularly now. Is that place you were speaking of near there, or on the way, of sorts?
