CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Hill County is having a Rummage Sale on April 5th & 6th at the Hill County Exhibits Building (behind the Hillsboro Football Field) from 8-4pm. Find a Treasure....Help a Child. The proceeds go to help operate the program as well as provide necessities that children need. Like this week, I was seeing a child who was wearing a size 9.5 boot - he really needed a size 11. I took him to Academy and bought him a new pair of boots. That's what these proceeds are used for. And what is more special was he said to me - my boots are still in good condition, do you know of another boy who can use them? My heart melted!! Come support a good cause. We are still taking donations if you want to do some Spring Cleaning - we can use your unwanted items. We are also in need of volunteers to help with the sale.
