I trotted out a couple of my HK clones with HK factory .22LR conversions kits installed for some shooting fun at Athena in Houston. The two rifles are as follows:
1. A JLD PTR91 w/18" heavy barrel w/conversion kit. In the first of the videos, this rifle will wear a Hensholdt FERO Z-24 scope and a semi-auto pack. In the other two videos, it will wear a registered full-auto pack. The magazines are new Bazooka Brothers aftermarket mags designed for the HK .22 conversion kit.
2. A Vector Arms V93 marked "HK33KE" with 12" barrel w/conversion kit. In the third video, the rifle shows that is has an exceedingly rapid rate of fire on full-auto.
Both rifles run perfect with CCI MiniMags and, for the most part, with Fiocchhi HV rounds. The third video will shows a couple stoppages for the PTR91, as the rifles was getting dirty and the Fiocchi wasn't cycling the bolt-within-bolt design of the conversion kit 100%. All the ammo used in these videos was Fiocchi HV 40gr copper-plated .22LR. Enjoy!
